BCMC hotels are conveniently located close to the Kentucky International Convention Center. Reservations can be made on-line at www.gotolouisville.com, by completing the BCMC 2001 Housing Form and faxing it to the Louisville Convention and Visitors Bureau at 502/561-3121, or by calling the Louisville Convention and Visitors Bureau at 800/743-3100. THE HOTELS WILL NOT ACCEPT TELEPHONE RESERVATIONS.
The hotels will require a deposit of a one night room rental with each reservation request. Housing forms received without a valid credit card deposit will not be processed and will be returned. THE DEADLINE FOR MAKING RESERVATIONS IS OCTOBER 1, 2001. All rates are subject to change and to applicable taxes. Remember – all reservations are subject to availability and hotels are already filling up. Act quickly!

TAKE A TAXICAB
Just outside the airport's baggage claim area you'll find many taxicabs available to take you where you need to go. The fare should be no more than $15.50 to get downtown.

EXECUTIVE TRANSPORTATION
This is a shuttle service that regularly serves the airport. The cost is $10 per person for one person, $7 per person for two people, $5 per person for groups of three or more. The service is available 5:00a - 11:50p, seven days/week. You can catch the shuttle from the airport at the Ground Transportation Center. TRANSIT AUTHORITY
Transit Authority of River City (city bus). Just outside the baggage claim area, take the #2/Second Street bus. The cost is $1 during peak hours (6:30a - 8:30a, and 3:30p - 5:30p), and $.75 during non-peak hours. You will need exact change to ride the bus. The bus begins service at 5:08a and ends at 12:26a Stop times vary throughout the day; visit www.ridetarc.com or call 502/585-1234 for more information. It takes about 20-30 minutes to get to the downtown area.

PARKING GARAGES
There are public parking garages on each side of the convention center – one at the Hyatt and one on the opposite side at Fourth and Market streets. There are also many surface parking lots in the area. The average cost for the surface lots is $5-$7/day and the garages average $8-$12/day. See map for locations.
