    WHY EXHIBIT AT BCMC

Each year more than 214 component manufacturer locations attend that did not attend the previous year. There are always new faces you did not see the year before!

    • The structural building components industry has over $8 billion in annual sales.
    • Where else can you see on average 414 component manufacturer locations at one time? These companies sell structural building components (trusses, wall panels, engineered wood products, and other building materials).
    • Of the companies that attend BCMC, the average company sales volume is $9.4 million. 100% of WTCA's largest members (companies with over $50 million in sales) attended BCMC in 2001.
    • BCMC attendees are the decision-makers in their companies! The statistics shown are a breakdown of 2001 BCMC attendees by the position they hold in their component manufacturing plant.

    NEW FOR 2002

Listening to our exhibitors, we have made a few changes for BCMC 2002:

    1. To keep attendees on the show floor, every component manufacturer will receive a ticket from the food court for one free lunch to use at the show. We have also improved the selection and quality of food.
    2. BCMC will close earlier on Friday. The show hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
    3. BCMC has eliminated all breakout sessions on Friday. Attendees will have more uninterrupted time on the show floor to meet with you.
    4. We've posted a section that will enable any browser to request additional information about each exhibitor.
    5. Service and product forms from the decorator George E. Fern (Hubbell/Tyner) and the Greater Columbus Convention Center are available from this web site.

    BCMC BOWL

THE BCMC BOWL The drawing for prizes at BCMC 2001 was a huge success—the attendees loved it! The second annual drawing will have improvements to make it fun and eventful. BCMC will take donations for prizes from seven exhibitors, plus BCMC will donate a $500 prize, which means only eight prizes will be awarded.

    • Two prizes will be awarded on Wednesday, four on Thursday, and two on Friday.
    • Commitments for prize donations will be accepted in writing on a first-come, first-serve basis, and only from companies that have a completed, signed contract and deposit submitted to BCMC.

Added Benefits for Exhibitors that Donate Prizes:

    • Donors will receive a sign to place in their booth at BCMC that lists their prize and the drawing time.
    • The WTCA booth will have a sign listing each company that donated a prize.
    • BCMC will give recognition to each donor in the Pocket Guide.
    • BCMC will list the donors in the December issue of SBC Magazine.
    • Donors will be listed in the Show Guide along with the prize they provided for the drawing. (If entry is received by the deadline.)
    • BCMC will give special recognition to donors on the BCMC Bowl section located on the Schedule of Events page.
    • The prize winner will be announced in the exhibitor's booth. BCMC will take a photo of the exhibitor handing out the prize to the winner. (Announcements will be very brief.)
