    BENEFITS OF JOINING

    Your industry associations are developing useful industry educational programs that target both managers and design professionals in the structural building components business. Find out about risk management tools, as well as tools to evaluate and develop your employees' technical skills. Online training offers the flexibility of self-paced programs, which can reduce the amount of time your employees spend away from the office and our traditional in-person training will still be available.

    Educational programs taught by experts in our industry are also available for allied professionals such as code officials, architects, engineers and contractors. AIA learning units are available to architects, and CEUs are available to building professionals. Also watch for these courses to go online!

    In recent years, political issues have had a big impact on the structural building components industry, and our industry associations are becoming more active to protect your interests.

    New product developments ensure that members receive the most up-to-date materials to serve their markets, including technical and marketing brochures and tags. In addition, videos and CD-ROM presentations provide members with many alternatives for educating their local markets.

    The structural building component industry has excellent quality control (QC) management tools. QC certification is available to members only.

    Wage & Benefit and Financial Performance Surveys provide invaluable information to our members. These surveys are free to all participating members, and only members can obtain the results.

    Timely news alerts provide members with information about important events that affect their businesses. Please be sure to put your email address and fax number in the appropriate space on the membership application so we can send news as it happens!
