Josh Hendrickson, Wilson Lumber
Josh is truss sales manager for Wilson Lumber in Madison, Alabama. He was six months from getting his bachelor’s degree in business administration when he accepted a position with a national LBM working the inside sales counter, loading trucks, and overseeing inventory on the sales floor. He was hooked right away. His previous experiences as an owner of a landscaping company and foreclosure management company made him attracted to the sales position. Today, he has been in outside sales for 13 years, with a focus on wood trusses since 2013.
Joe Hikel, Shelter Systems Limited
Joe is President/CEO of Shelter Systems Limited in Westminster, Maryland. A Past President of SBCA, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2014 and continues to serve on the association’s Executive Committee.
Mike Kozlowski, P.E., Apex
Mike began his career in 2000 as an engineering intern for Apex, holding a dual role of structural engineer and truss engineer. Today, Mike leads the two companies that comprise the BeLit design services group – Apex and True Design Studios – which together provide architectural, structural, mechanical and component design services to the single and multifamily housing industry. Mike was awarded the 40 Under 40 Award from Professional Builder magazine in 2016.
Steve Szymanski, Truss Systems, Inc.
Steve is the president and co-owner of Truss Systems Inc located in Little Chute, Wisconsin, and has worked in the industry for the past 31 years. He has served on the BCMC committee for the past four years and is the current president of the Wisconsin Truss Manufacturers Association (WTMA).
Jason Walsh, California TrusFrame LLC
Jason joined the truss industry in 1999 as a designer for Computrus in Southern California. He worked for a few different truss and framing companies along the way and made it through the recession learning design, estimating, and sales. Jason landed at California TrusFrame (CTF) in 2010 as a sales rep. Since that time, Jason has moved from sales rep to sales manager to general manager. In January 2016 he was promoted again to become CTF’s vice president of sales and design.
